In a swell of shear stupidity, French President Sarkozy is clearly turning out to be the EU’s loosest cannon on deck. And his latest attacks on his domestic Muslim community may very well bring his nation’s economy to its knees!

Having recently anointed himself “The Furor of the Fashion Police” he stated that the wearing of burqas (traditional Muslim garment) was not welcome in France . If the man wishes to be fair about this statement, he best summon his fashion squad to every Christian and Jewish religious place of worship and have them white-out all the Virgin Mary’s headdresses, while enforcing his ban onto every nun’s habit and every Jewish person’s kippah.

France is home to Europe ’s largest Muslim population, making up “8% of all consumer dollars spent” on any given day. All it would take now for Sarkozy to swallow every letter of his words is a countrywide boycott of any French goods and services by his Muslim citizenry. If the sickness from his mental psychosis does cause such a rebuttal, he better hope that it doesn’t spread across any French borders, since Muslims now comprise 30 million consumers of the entire European market! Should France ’s Muslim body as a whole, decide to use “the power of the purse”, then Sarkozy will be toast, his antics will instantly vaporize and he can take a seat next to George Bush!

I was born in Manhattan and patted on the head at the age of 3 by Howard Hughes on the steps of an old New York A&P which had sawdust on the floors. I've had close associations with former vice presidents of Aetna, Merrill Lynch, IBM, Smith Barney and Black Enterprise and was previously in wholesale distribution for Polo Ralph Lauren. After I married, I remained in China for 3 years doing business language coaching, conceptual instructions, negotiations and research for 25 separate organizations and companies such as Total-Fina-Elf, Rockwell Automation, Whirlpool, New Oriental School, Nanhua University of Industry and Commerce, Sci-Head Patient Lawyers and True Alaska Bottling. I'm currently employed with a small publishing firm in Palo Alto, CA.
